About Us
The Artists Cottage is a unique concept village created by Cheryl , Karla and Garry. The village is set in the beautiful historical buildings established by James and Catherine Lyon in 1896 who were early settler to Taabinga Village. This encahanting setting is now the home to a collection and co opertive of artists , artisan and like minded people who love and develop the old arts.
The uniqueness of the the place is that it is shared with the wider community. Travellers wander in and enjoy homemade meals, cake and coffee on the veranda or in the gardens and not only view the art works but chat with artists at work whether in classes or those manning studios. Masssage and treatments are also available by booking with our therepists.
